How Le Mare Ops handles your personal data.

1. Who We Are

Le Mare Ops is based in Amersfoort, the Netherlands, and is responsible for the processing of personal data as described in this privacy policy.

2. Data We Collect

We process only the following personal data:

  • - Email address (for account and authentication).
  • - Location data (only during active matches).
  • - Unique anonymous user ID (generated via Firebase).
  • - Gamertag (chosen by the user).
  • - Game statistics (such as matches played, kills, deaths and playtime).

We do not collect names, addresses, phone numbers, dates of birth or any other directly identifying personal data.

3. Purposes

We use data solely for the following purposes:

  • - Enabling use of the app.
  • - Authenticating users.
  • - Displaying real-time positions during an active match.
  • - Tracking game statistics.
  • - Improving the app through crash and usage analytics.

4. Location Data

During an active match, real-time location is shared with other players in the same match.

  • - Location data is only visible to participants of the same match.
  • - Location data is deleted immediately after the match ends.
  • - Location data is never stored for more than 24 hours.

5. Third Parties

We use the following processors:

Google Firebase (within the EU)

  • - Authentication
  • - Firestore
  • - Hosting

Railway (within the EU)

  • - Temporary match servers

These parties process data solely on behalf of Le Mare Ops and in accordance with GDPR.

6. Data Transfer

All data is stored within the European Union. We do not transfer personal data outside the EU.

7. Retention

  • - Account data and statistics: retained for as long as the account is active.
  • - Match data: deleted immediately after the match ends.
  • - Location data: maximum 24 hours (but in practice deleted immediately).

8. Security

We take appropriate security measures, including:

  • - Encryption of data in transit (HTTPS).
  • - Storage on Firebase's secured infrastructure.
  • - Use of Firebase AppCheck.
  • - Access restrictions via security rules.
  • - Unique authentication tokens per session.

9. Your Rights

Users have the right to:

  • - Request access to their data.
  • - Have their data corrected or deleted.
  • - Delete their account via the app.

10. Minors

The app is accessible without a fixed age limit. For users under the age of 16, consent from a parent or legal guardian is required.

11. Changes

Le Mare Ops reserves the right to modify this privacy policy. The most current version is always available within the app or via the website.
